BINSBOURG

After the Hornstein in 2018, then the Grand Cru Ollwiller in 2020, here is a third new terroir, the Binsburg of Jungholtz, added to our two historic places in Mittelburg and Orschwillerburg!

Binsburg dominates the village of Jungholtz and faces south. Like Mittelbourg, Orschwillerbourg or Hornstein, it is one of the remarkable terroirs of our valley, which was mentioned in the records of the Cistercian monks of Thierenbach in 1575.

Its pink and yellow sandstone soil dating from the Lower Trias (-250 million years), its altitude, the highest of our wines (400 m), marked slopes, a green environment bordered by oaks and centuries-old chestnut trees, all of which quickly made us seduce and which augurates wines of a great personality! Planted in Riesling and Pinot Noir, it offers a white Binsburg and a red Binsburg.
